Week in Review = Eye, Sleeping, Squirrel

1) Eye

 If we could give Mommy a letter grade (like teachers give in school), we would give Mommy a "C" this week.  She didn't get to help me read blogs that much at all this week.  She said her eye hurt cause a piece of dirt flew in it when she was planting a small rose bush. 

Excuses Excuses!

Anyway, Mommy's eye is feeling better.  (If they say there is a water shortage in NJ -- it's because Mommy used so much water to try to flush that dirt out of her eye.)


2) Sleeping

 

 

Look at how us dogs were sleeping in the living room.  That's Benji with his head on top of mine!  (Brotherly love.)



3) Squirrel


Speaking of Brotherly Love --Mommy doesn't work in the best of neighborhoods in Philadelphia (The City of Brotherly Love).  Mommy was sitting at her desk and she has 2 windows.  She had one of the windows cracked open a bit to get some air in.  Anyway, she was typing away at her computer when there was a loud bang on the window right beside her.  Mommy's heart almost jumped out of her chest.  She thought -- was that a gun shot!

She turned to look at the window and was shocked to see...

Yes, that's a squirrel hanging on the screen of her window in the office. 

(Mommy works on the 1st floor of the building, so it must have jumped from the ground up to the window.)

The squirrel walked around the window screen in a circle.  And as you can see, it was trying to get into Mommy's office via the other window that was cracked open.

All Mommy can say is -- Thank goodness there is a screen on those windows!

Mommy was yelling at the squirrel to "go away" and he did eventually.  (There is actually a video of Mommy yelling at the squirrel butt she is too embarrassed to post it.)

Too bad pets aren't allowed at work, I bet I would have barked that squirrel out of there in no time.
