Cheese 'n Crackers ... Happy Thanksgiving

We want to wish all our blog friends a Happy Thanksgiving!  We apologize for not coming around Blogville last week, Mommy didn't feel well.  We didn't have a chance to post some pictures we took from early November -- so here they are...


First, we wanted to show you how Mommy bought us matching Halloween costumes.  Even though I already had a pumpkin costume, Mommy couldn't pass up the opportunity for me and Benji to have matching costumes.  She bought them for us in June or July or something like that, they were brand new on the clearance rack at a store, and only cost ten cents each costume!    In our picture, you can see we both didn't want to wear our hats, and they fell off our heads the same way.  (Trick or Treating was on November 5th this year in NJ; it was postponed from October 31st because of Hurricane Sandy.)

Snow on November 7th.

 We weren't sure if we showed you this picture of us in the snow on November 7th -- butt here it is again!

Here we are waiting to see what Mommy and her oldest niece were doing with a box of "Cheez-It" Crackers in early November. 

They spelled out our names in Crackers!!!!  There was no "J" in the entire box of crackers!!!!  So, the "J" in Benji's name is actually a backwards "L".  We got to eat our names in crackers!  ( Too bad Mommy didn't spell out our entire names in crackers -- could you imagine how many crackers we would have gotten!!!!)

Mish Mash Monday - Car's Birthday

 Mommy celebrates her car's birthday.  Her car's name is "Smurfette the car".  Her name is "Smurfette" because on the day Mommy went to shop for her car, her niece gave her a pink totebag that had Smurfette's picture on it.  Mommy carried around all the car papers in the Smurfette totebag -- so, that's where her name came from.  On November 7th Mommy's car turned 3.  I guess it should be called a "Gotcha Day" instead of "Birthday", butt, we never heard of the term "Gotcha Day" until we started reading blogs.    (This is a blurry picture of us with Smurfette's Pawty hat!)

Mommy's sister's family made Smurfette the car a party hat on Smurfette's 1st Birthday a couple of years ago.   Mommy keeps Smurfette's party hat in her room, and always puts the Pawty hat on Smurfette on the car's birthday.   (We don't drive around with the hat on top of the car (it would probably blow away).

Guess we should have rotated the picture.   Mommy keeps a Smurfette stuffed animal in the backseat of the car.  So, the stuffed animal posed with the pawty hat in the car.

It snowed on November 7th.  So this is us in the backyard waiting to play with a snowball.

This is Smurfette the next day.  Isn't it weird how the snow started to melt on the hood of the car, guess it had to do with parts of the engine warm, etc....     Mommy drew a number 3 on the windshield.    What a fun birthday.    Happy 3rd Birthday, Smurfette the Car!!!!!    (And also Happy Birthday to Mommy's sister, which is actually the same day as Smurfette's Birthday!)

Mish Mash Monday -- Spirit of Philadelphia

Flat Benji and I got to ride on the Spirit of Philadelphia Cruise Ship.  Mommy went out with her sister and some of Mommy's sister's friends to celebrate Mommy's sister's birthday (and Mommy brought along Flat Benji and Lassie!)  We went on the Ship a little over a week ago.  Mommy snapped a picture of the ship before we met up with Mommy's sister's friends at 7pm-- so, this is the only bright picture of the ship we have.

This is a ship nearby.  It's a restaurant, I think.  It's called the Moshulu, or something like that.

Here we are with one of those life preserver things that say Spirit of Philadelphia.

Here's some big rope we saw on the ship.  That gate to the left of the photo is where we entered and exited off the ship.

We went at night, so it was hard to take pictures.  But the lights were pretty.

Here we are on the butt of the ship.  Mommy says all the parts of a ship are named, but she doesn't know the proper name of the back of the ship.  (The American Flag was hanging on the railing on the back center of the ship).

I know these pictures are super dark, that's why we posed it on Mish Mash Monday -- this is supposed to be a picture of a ship that has lights on it.

We had fun on the Spirit of Philadelphia.  The waiters sing on the ship. It was a 3 hour boat ride.  There is a buffet dinner (the lemon basil chicken was pawsome!), there was a DJ playing music where people can dance, and when we exited the ship they gave out Philadelphia Pretzels to everyone.    

What a great adventure!!!
