Showing our feline side (on Mother's day)

I always hear humans saying they are showing their feminine side ... or showing their masculine side. 

Not really sure what that means -- but for mothers day -- even though we are canines -- we decided to show a little feline side to Mommy today.

We love to read Pat at Critter Alley's blog with her cat Bogey and dog Indy.  Anyway, Mommy kept looking in the store forever to find a book that has one of Pat's stories written in it.  It's a Chicken Soup for the Soul book and it has a picture of a CAT on the front cover of it.  http://critteralley.blogspot.com/2012/08/its-here.html

Mommy finally saw the book in the store -- I told Mommy to get the book (cat picture and all).  It was our Mother's Day present to her. 

Mommy read the story to us, and we loved it because both Indy and Bogey were in it!

Benji said the book tastes good too.  He kinda sampled the top corner of the book.

 

 

This is the card we (Mommy's sister) got for Mommy. We even signed it.

P.S.  Mommy got a Godmother's day card from her eldest niece and nephew and it made her day extra special too.

 

P.P.S. For Grandma's present, Mommy went outside first thing this morning (in her pajamas) and cut off a piece of the blooming azalea bush and put it in a vase for Grandma.  Grandma loved it and the cards and Mother's Day wishes she got from everyone today.  We even sang Happy Yap Yap Day to Grandma this morning too.  We are pawsome like that you know.
