Is she nuttier than a squirrel?
She lost 50 pounds and celebrated by buying a new coat.
We think a celebration of that magnitude should involve dog treats. Just saying.
Mommy is having acid reflux problems so she lost weight to try to help with that. In any case, we think our Mommy is looking good and we need to get our dog hairs all over that new coat ASAP.

Your mom is BEAUTIFUL!!!! congrats for being such a trooper !!! and summer is the BEST time to buy a coat, the prices are fabulous and we can take all the time we need to find the right coat... in winter efurrything is good when we are blue with cold like smurfes, so we mostly buy the first one just to end not frozen like that Olaf guy :o)

Dog hair personalises and gives class to the peeps fashions. Congrats to your mom.
ReplyDelete@ Dakota..... Mom walks a lot. Before work/-at lunch/ after work. Walks whenever she can. She drinks a whole lot of water too. Surprised she didnt cause a water shortage yet. Mommy eats 1500 calories a day or less. She isnt on weight watchers or anything. She uses an iphone app to help her count calories. Its called Lose It, but we hear there are other apps out there. The biggest thing fur mommy was cutting out soda. She used to live on soda. Now she only drinks water and on rare occassion milk. Thats about it. She started her diet april 22 2016. Keep up the good work with your diet. Dont get discouraged. Keep with it.

ReplyDeleteYour Mom looks beautiful in the coat. 50 pounds is an amazing accomplishment. I think if my Mom had lost 50 pounds she would have bought a smaller CAR. My Mom did lose 43 pounds before her wedding (to help with a knee injury from a fall) by cutting out pop, beer and chips (she did butter free popcorn and flavored no calorie mineral waters) She's gained a few pounds back stress eating after a couple of deaths in her family but lost those this year by working out three times a week with weights and eating more healthy meals. It's SO hard, she says so we are VERY proud of your beautiful Mom and all she has done (and seriously I think that's your older human sister, not your MOM.)

ReplyDeleteWhy I think rewarding oneself for losing weight is a great idea. But a coat thought looking really terrific seems like a necessity. Lee says a gem ring seems more like a reward.
