Benji scratched his itchy nose WHERE???

Benji is on the left and I (Lassie) am the one with the big smile still laughing at Mommy!

Let's just say -- Thank dog it's Friday and it's almost the weekend!!!!

Benji has allergies (as you know) and he has been so itching his nose like crazy.  The pool noodles Mommy put on the kitchen chairs (to protect the wood from Benji chewing and rubbing his nose against) are still holding and they haven't been chewed apart.

Unfortunately, Benji is finding alternate places to itch and rub his nose against.

The latest place Benji found to rub his nose was.... Mommy's armpit!     Mommy thought Benji was coming to her for a big hug this morning -- then he went right for the armpit and started scratching his nose against her shirt.

Mommy didn't realize Benji was rubbing his nose because of itchy allergies -- so Mommy thought to herself -- Do I stink? -- I put deodorant on -- it's a clean shirt -- what in the world is making Benji sniff my armpits!

So, in the picture above, Mommy actually checked the expiration date on the bottom of her deodorant.   It's still good -- it doesn't expire for another 2 years -- not that it's ever going to last that long. 

Mommy ended up putting on about triple the amount of deodorant this morning after the Benji sniffing incident. So, triple plus the amount she usually uses -- that's a lot of deodorant!

How in the world do we tell Mommy that -- Benji was just scratching his nose in her armpit because of allergies.  

I mean, if I was a talented dog who knew tricks -- if Mommy stunk: I could probably try to wave my paw in front of my nose and keep staring at her armpit or something.

Anyway, Mommy kinda looked ridiculous trying to sniff her own armpit this morning.  Butt it was very entertaining for us.

P.S.  Don't worry -- Mommy's got a smile on her face. Mommy knows she doesn't stink. She found the entire incident very funny (well, that is -- found it funny about 14 hours after the entire incident happened.)   Have a great night everyone!
