Its our Mommys birthday. She became a zoo parent today. She adopted an owl. The owl's name is Stella and is the live Mascot for Temple University. Stella attends Temple's home football games. She lives in a zoo in Norristown, PA.
Mommy played trombone in Temples Marching Band decades ago at their football games, so she really felt a connection to adopting Stella.
So here are pictures of us adopting Stella this morning on the computer. I am sitting on Mommys lap and Benji is not paying any attention to his new feathered sibling.
Mommy is supposed to get an electronic adoption certificate.

Welcome Stella! We once adopted an orang-u-tan named Marsha. She was being rehabilitated to return to the wild. It's great to adopt an animal. Happy Birthday to your Mom!
