We learned thru Blogville that today is Cow Appreciation Day. In all seriousness, Mommy would like to thank the cow who saved her Mom's life. A few years ago, Mommy's mom (our grandma) had to have heart surgery to replace a bad heart valve. The doctors used tissue from a cow to replace the bad valve.
Thank you cow for saving Mommy's mom's life.
Crikey ... what a good cow. Not that cows are bad. I love cows. All cows are good in my eyes. I'm glad that cow saved you Grandma's life.

Your Grandma got a cow valve verses a pig or horse. Well we always did like cows considering they give us milk. We know a man who got a mechanical valve and when you are close to him you can hear it ~ it was kind of unnerving. Thank You for the birthday wish. The 22nd is both Lee's birthday and Downunder Daisy's HER birthday! We share a birthday with Prince George of England.
