Christmas Catch Up - Award/Treats/Santa on a Firetruck

Christmas sorta seemed to fly by!

We hope everyone had a very nice Christmas.


Here are some random pictures from December.....

 

First we want to thank Cocco the minipig for giving us this Friends and Followers Award in December.  That was so sweet of you to give us this award to us.  We would like to pass on the Friend and Followers Award to 2 bloggers who helped us out on our blog.  Dakota had told us about adding a "Follow by E-mail" spot on our blog.  And second Top Cop Sidebite told us about adding a "Followers" thingy on the side panel of the blog so it would be easier fur bloggers to follow us. So, we wish to pass on the Friends and Followers Award to Dakota and Sidebite.

Mommy's friend gave Mommy a nice Pierogie crocheted ornament and a Dancing Pierogie card.  Mommy loves it and it was a big hit at our house for Christmas.

 

This is a picture of Mommy holding up the crocheted pierogie by the Sauerkraut Pierogies Grandma (Baba) was making on Christmas Eve for a special dinner.

Mommy asked Grandma if she knew how to make a fancy pierogie with a curled edge that Sara mentioned on her blog a few weeks ago that her Babchi used to make.   Grandma showed Mommy how to fold the edge of to make it a fancy curled border.   Maybe this is similar to the kind Sara mentioned her Babchi used to make.

On Christmas, Mommy's Godfather made Chocolate Covered Marshmallows.  Mommy said she never remembered her Godfather making chocolate covered marshmallows before, he usually makes chocolate covered pretzels -- so her Godfather made her a special batch of marshmallows and said -- put a picture of it on your blog as proof for the future that I did make these for you.  (Note: Mommy kinda ate like 4 of them before she took the picture, so she had to rearrange the tray to make it look nice for the photo.) 

This is a picture of us on Christmas in the kitchen.  We were on clean up duty in case any foodables fell on the floor.

 

Santa Paws put a Mickey Mouse Stuffie in Benji's stocking and a Kermit the Frog Stuffie in my stocking. 

Here is a picture of Mommy, Me, and Benji on Christmas Day sitting next to the ten year old $16.99 Christmas tree.

It was so hard to take a picture of all the Christmas Cards we got in the Blogville Christmas Card Exchange.  We put them on the doorway in between the kitchen and living room. There were so many cards, we even put some upside down on the under side of the doorway. We took a video of the Christmas Card display and at the end of the video is a LOUD video of Santa driving down our blog on a Firetruck at night. The Firetruck has Christmas lights all over it.

A couple of weeks ago on my birthday, we won a pawsome prize from Dakota's blog.  It was Buddy Biscuits.   We love it!  There were 3 items.  A box of treats, a really big Gingerbread Cookie, and a bag of soft Gingerbread treats.  Thanks Dakota and Buddy Biscuits!  They smelled really good and tasted good too - it was a holiday flavor one that smelled like Gingerbread.

This is my barking at Mommy to hurry up and break apart the big Gingerbread cookie fur us.

 

This was the soft Buddy Biscuit bag -- we kinda ate these first.   I love the soft kind the best!

And this was a picture from November.  We never got a chance to thank Reilly and Denny for the pawsome Kong treats that we won on their blog in October or November.   We won the treats around the time that Bree wasn't feeling well -- and we were so worried about Bree at the time, we never uploaded the pictures of the treats.   Anyway, these treats were super pawsome.  They were made in Australia.  The outside was soft, and the inside was chewy.  I Lassie, loved the outside of it the best and I took my time savoring it.  Benji on the other paw -- seemed to devour it whole.  Well, not exactly, butt he ate his super fast and then had the nerve to try to steal mine.  Thank you Cowspot Dogs and Kong fur the treat!
