Mommy, you know we are both boy dogs right? The carpet and bedding in this photo are a bit too girly for our masculine side. Oh well. Guess anything goes on a Mish Mash Monday. Have a great week.

P.S. Mommy was too scared of another tree branch falling down on her or her car -- so she had the tree company remove more trees than planned in front of the house. Little bit sunny up front now at noontime -- butt at least Mommy has more of a "peace of mind" when walking to the car. We still have plenty of trees in the back yard to provide shade to the backyard during the day. Mommy isn't sure if she will plant a different kind of tree in front. She just knows -- she doesn't want anymore oak trees! Mommy was thinking maybe to plant a crape myrtle type of tree/bush in the springtime but doesn't know for sure. (Research says they bloom all summer long with flowers -- sounds nice, what's the catch?)
We have a crape myrtle in front of our house, and it's very lovely with beautiful pink flowers. You do have to prune it good once a year, but it's pretty low maintenance!

You two are excellent at finding good sleeping places. If it makes you feel any better, my school's colors are purple and gold, so I see boys wearing purple all the time! However, they don't have zebra stripes and flowers on their uniforms :)

You are both super cute snuggling even if you have girly bedding! :) We don't blame your mom for worrying about trees falling. We have a lot of that in our neighborhood too. And many trees have to be taken out because of it.

Crepe Myrtles are really pretty and come in 2 or 3 shades of pink and in white. They do bloom in late summer through fall...if you live in the south. The bark is pretty too. And I like the leaf pattern as well, even when they're not in bloom.
