Ring in the 2014 New Year

Blogville is gonna be the place to be on New Year's Eve.

Visit Sarge's blog to find out all the details on where to go on New Years Eve.  There's a bunch of stuff planned on lots of blogs.

Benji and I are gonna tell a New Years Eve joke at Hailey and Zaphod's blog.  We will bring the Blogville Ambulance and the case of "Depends" Undergarments in case anyone pees themselves laughing at our joke and all the other Comedy Acts on New Years Eve.

Now, we were hoping to do something special fur New Years, and we came up with this little "game" below -- it's kinda cheesy, butt Mommy did her best trying to create something in Google Docs.  Anyway, if you want to try your paw at the game, just click on the screens where it says to.  Make sure to start on Slide 1 to begin, and click on the spots of the screen where it says to in the directions.  Hope you are able to figure out our game "Ring in the 2014 New Year."

Happy New Year everyone!

Christmas Catch Up - Award/Treats/Santa on a Firetruck

Christmas sorta seemed to fly by!

We hope everyone had a very nice Christmas.

Here are some random pictures from December.....

First we want to thank Cocco the minipig for giving us this Friends and Followers Award in December.  That was so sweet of you to give us this award to us.  We would like to pass on the Friend and Followers Award to 2 bloggers who helped us out on our blog.  Dakota had told us about adding a "Follow by E-mail" spot on our blog.  And second Top Cop Sidebite told us about adding a "Followers" thingy on the side panel of the blog so it would be easier fur bloggers to follow us. So, we wish to pass on the Friends and Followers Award to Dakota and Sidebite.

Mommy's friend gave Mommy a nice Pierogie crocheted ornament and a Dancing Pierogie card.  Mommy loves it and it was a big hit at our house for Christmas.

This is a picture of Mommy holding up the crocheted pierogie by the Sauerkraut Pierogies Grandma (Baba) was making on Christmas Eve for a special dinner.

Mommy asked Grandma if she knew how to make a fancy pierogie with a curled edge that Sara mentioned on her blog a few weeks ago that her Babchi used to make.   Grandma showed Mommy how to fold the edge of to make it a fancy curled border.   Maybe this is similar to the kind Sara mentioned her Babchi used to make.

On Christmas, Mommy's Godfather made Chocolate Covered Marshmallows.  Mommy said she never remembered her Godfather making chocolate covered marshmallows before, he usually makes chocolate covered pretzels -- so her Godfather made her a special batch of marshmallows and said -- put a picture of it on your blog as proof for the future that I did make these for you.  (Note: Mommy kinda ate like 4 of them before she took the picture, so she had to rearrange the tray to make it look nice for the photo.)

This is a picture of us on Christmas in the kitchen.  We were on clean up duty in case any foodables fell on the floor.

Santa Paws put a Mickey Mouse Stuffie in Benji's stocking and a Kermit the Frog Stuffie in my stocking.

Here is a picture of Mommy, Me, and Benji on Christmas Day sitting next to the ten year old $16.99 Christmas tree.

It was so hard to take a picture of all the Christmas Cards we got in the Blogville Christmas Card Exchange.  We put them on the doorway in between the kitchen and living room. There were so many cards, we even put some upside down on the under side of the doorway. We took a video of the Christmas Card display and at the end of the video is a LOUD video of Santa driving down our blog on a Firetruck at night. The Firetruck has Christmas lights all over it.

---------------------------------------------------

A couple of weeks ago on my birthday, we won a pawsome prize from Dakota's blog.  It was Buddy Biscuits.   We love it!  There were 3 items.  A box of treats, a really big Gingerbread Cookie, and a bag of soft Gingerbread treats.  Thanks Dakota and Buddy Biscuits!  They smelled really good and tasted good too - it was a holiday flavor one that smelled like Gingerbread.

This is my barking at Mommy to hurry up and break apart the big Gingerbread cookie fur us.

This was the soft Buddy Biscuit bag -- we kinda ate these first.   I love the soft kind the best!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

And this was a picture from November.  We never got a chance to thank Reilly and Denny for the pawsome Kong treats that we won on their blog in October or November.   We won the treats around the time that Bree wasn't feeling well -- and we were so worried about Bree at the time, we never uploaded the pictures of the treats.   Anyway, these treats were super pawsome.  They were made in Australia.  The outside was soft, and the inside was chewy.  I Lassie, loved the outside of it the best and I took my time savoring it.  Benji on the other paw -- seemed to devour it whole.  Well, not exactly, butt he ate his super fast and then had the nerve to try to steal mine.  Thank you Cowspot Dogs and Kong fur the treat!

Next post will be about New Years Eve.

Now without any further Doggie Doo, we would like to present Blogville's Pawsome New Ambulance.

Furst of all we would like to show you the HIPPO PLAQUE that we hung in the Ambulance.

See, humans (at least in the US) read a piece of paper that has some kind of Health Information Privacy stuff on it.

In our Blogville Ambulance, we took things up a notch.  We had the "HIPPO" privacy statement engraved as an oath on a 24 Carrot Gold Plaque and we have it hanging up in the Ambulance.  Count them -- there's 24 carrots on the border of the plaque - oh yeah!

HIPPO stands for "Hippo's Important Patient Privacy Oath."  The Oath is:  "What happens in the Ambulance, stays in the Ambulance!"   So, due to privacy (and the fact that we don't actually know anything about medicine)  all the procedures and operations that are performed in the Ambulance have to be strictly confidential for the benefit of the Patient's Privacy!

And here is the list of the Blogville Ambulance Features (by category):

Décor/Impawtant Stuff

1. 87 Inch Flatscreen TV tuned to “Animal Planet.”

2. 87 million count thread sheets for the stretcher so everyone can be nice, warm and cozy.

3. Plush seats.

4. High Speed Internet so we could surf the interwebs.

5. A pinball machine to play when it's not busy.

6. A hot tub -- that will help people relax.

7. A Downy plushy comforter in there to cover up any patients or lucky ducks that get to ride in Blogville's Ambulance

8. Plush heated and cooled doggie beds fur workers and fur patients. (You can never be too comfy.)

Customized Automotive Pawsomefied Stuff

1. Ability to transform into a boat for any aquatic friends in need.

2. Siren that can be programmed between playing multiple tunes including “Who let the dog’s out”, the Ice Cream truck jingle, and a traditional Siren sound.  (For undercover purposes, it needs to alternate between tunes when appropriate.)

3. Turbo boosters to go really fast. (Star Trek like transportation technology so the ambulance can move quickly from place to place.)

4. Cloaking device so that we can go without being seen.

5. Hover-mode has been installed.  It has wings to fly with the push of a button.  That way we won't be blocked by debris in the road, and we can just float right over it. And we can go over oceans and lakes and up in the air to reach ALL Blogville citizens who might need help.

6. The Ambulance has the ability to expand (like an accordion bus), so that it can double or even triple in length to fit large animals like Elephants and Whales.

7. The Ambulance comes equipped with a "secret panel" on the roof of the ambulance, so with the push of a button, the roof panel of the Ambulance can slide open.  It has many uses for example: can be used as a skylight for claustrophobic patients; or it can be used as a opening for any giraffes that might need help in Blogville that are too tall to otherwise fit in the ambulance. The "secret panel" is also a great way for Santa Paws to enter and deliver presents to patients on Christmas Eve.

The "secret panel" on top of the Ambulance is the grey circle thing on the roof as shown in this model!

Saftey Features

1. Lasers in case of Alien Invasion.

2. A squirrel escape proof cell.

3.  A "Machine Gum" to keep those ambulance chasing squirrel lawyers out of the picture.  (Now what us Dogtor’s did is invent a "secret panel" on the roof of the Ambulance, so with a push of a button, the roof will slide open, and a secret turret (a little tower) will raise from inside the ambulance and then we can "gum" down those ambulance chasing squirrel lawyers when necessary by shooting out wads of sticky chewing gum at them!)

Food/Beverages

1.  Mini-Fridge/Freezer containing:  Milk, Beer, Ice Cream...

2. Bacon dispenser.  (To Cocco, our Mini Pig blog friend, the bacon in the Bacon dispenser will be a sort of imitation product that looks like Bacon and tastes like Bacon, butt is definitely NOT made from the stuff that real Bacon comes from.)

3. Cheese dispenser.

4. Treat dispenser for puppers and kitties in bad need.

5. Bacon for medical use – to use as Smelling SALTS in case of Fainting.

6. Nice container of FRESH GROWN CATNIP.

7. A stash of Fresh BONES.

8. Cheetos.

9.  Cheeseburger grill.

10.  Pizza oven in case of hungry patients. (Sasha will be glad to provide the homemade possum pizza.)

11.  Fully stocked bar... fur medicinal purposes, of course!

Medical Supplies

1. Plenty of Stuffies with Squeakers... to check HEARING and REFLEXES.

2. Gravy Bags instead of Saline bags!

3.  Supply of pawsome-looking bandages and wraps with cool things like pictures of bones and mice and words like woof and meow all over them so anyone who's injured can still be stylish.

4. And bandages with pictures of Scooby-Doo and Snoopy on them to make us feel brave. (Well, okay, there can be Garfield too for the kittehs!)

5. NO CONES OF SHAME!

6. NO SHOTS!

7. Every medicine should be wrapped in a liver coated treats.

8.  Our Dogtor's medical black bag will be filled with a heap of treats and it will have a nice delicious meaty smell to it.
9.  And last butt not least, the Blogville Ambulance will have a case of “Depends” (undergarments) in case any female patients pee themselves for a ride with a cute EMT and a handsome Dogtor.

We really want to thank everyone in Blogville for their Comments!  Operation: Pawsomefy Up Blogville's Ambulance was a GREAT SUCCESS all because of your help!

Thank you!
