Blogville Pawlympics Basketball

Welcome everyone to Blogville Pawlympic Basketball held inside the Blogville Ambulance.  (Yes, there is a Pawlympic-Sized Basketball Court inside the Blogville Ambulance.)

And now we (Dogtor Lassie and EMT Benji) take you straight to the game action.

Zaphod gets possession of the ball after the opening tip-off.   Way to go Phod!  He runs down court.  He shoots, he scores! (Score is Blogville 1, Aliens 0.)

Chewy passes the basketball to his brother Oreo.  Pawsome teamwork guys!  Oreo shoots!  Score! (Score is Blogville 2, Aliens 0.)

Keltic & Beckett herd all the balls in the middle of the court. Then in a flash, they used their agility skills and made all 12 baskets with the balls during their Alien Agility Obstacle Course.  Nice!   (Score is Blogville 17, Aliens 0.)

TEAM ALIEN CALLS A TIME-OUT!  THEY ARE A BIT UPSET AT THE SCORE.  THEY DECIDE TO PUT UP A FORCE-FIELD (HIDE UNDER THE BED) AND NOT LET TEAM BLOGVILLE GET POSSESSION OF THE BALL.

Everyone wonders how the game will go on.  The Aliens won't give up the ball.

Jessie uses her boxing skills and punches open the Force-field to get access to the ball.   Those Aliens sure play dirty trying to  keep possession of the ball by putting up a Force-Field.   Great job Jessie, "thinking outside the box" like that to steal the ball.  (It takes a Boxer dog to know how to box and  "think outside the box".)   Jessie shoots. Easy gets the ball and passes gas.      Cough, Cough..We guess Easy still had a fart left in him from yesterday's Tuneful Farting event at the Pawlympics.    Cough, Cough..  


TEAM BLOGVILLE CALLS A TIME OUT!   THE ENTIRE BASKETBALL ARENA IN THE BLOGVILLE AMBULANCE HAD TO BE EVACUATED UNTIL THE FUMES SUBSIDED.  IT WAS AN 87 MINUTE DELAY!


GAME ON!

Sarge, we said "Game on!"  Wake up Sarge.   (Sarge's siblings, The Crabby Girls, (Hermit Crabs) pinch Sarge to wake him up.)   Sarge shoots the ball from the bed and scores.  (Score is Blogville 22, Aliens 0.)

Aliens get the ball. They shoot and miss!

Bentley secretly gets possession of the ball and conceals the ball in his mouth, so the Aliens are unaware he has the ball.  He sneaks past all the aliens undetected and shoots and scores!  Score is Blogville 23, Aliens 0.

Pierre gets the ball and pretends like it's a microphone, he announces a News Broadcast saying he is going to shoot the ball and make a 2 point basket.    Sure enough, Pierre does shoot the ball, and makes the basket!  Pawsome!  (Score is Blogville 25, Aliens 0. )

Hazel gets possession of the ball.  She sees herself on the Jumbo Tron Screen!   Looking good Hazel!  Hazel shoots!  Hazel scores!  Woot Woot!  (Score is Blogville 26, Aliens 0. )

Roxy  stands "down under" the net and watches her ball go into the net.  Score! (Score is Blogville 27, Aliens 0.)

Sweet William gets the ball and dribbles it down court!  Fancy footwork there Sweet William.  He shoots and scores a two-pointer!  (Score is Blogville 29, Aliens 0.)

Macy has her eye on the ball. The aliens play dirty and decide to slime the ball to make it sticky. Not to worry, Dogtor Lassie and EMT Benji to the rescue.  We totally throw water balloons and clean off the ball as Macy gets the ball and shoots!  Score!  Oh yeah!  (Score is Blogville 30, Aliens 0.)

Walter is watching the clock.  He sees time is starting to run out.  He shoots a 3 point basket.  Amazing shot there Walter!  (Score Blogville 34, Aliens 0.)

Ernie & Frankie can't decide which ball to use.  Oh no.  Time is running out on the clock!  The game is almost over.   However since the two couldn't decide on a mutual agreement on which ball to use; a mini "court" session was held in the middle of the "Basketball Court."  "Ernie the Attorney" made a great plea for the blue ball to be used, butt in the end it was decided that His Honorable Mop Headedness "Judge Frankie Furter" got to choose which ball he was going to use to shoot the final basket.


  Oh my dog!  In a flash, Frankie changed outfits and  Frankie made a pawsome 87 point shot!  His "tighty-whitey" back end was standing directly under the opponents basketball net... and he stretched his L-O-N-G body, all the way across the entire length of the basketball court, and made a slam dunk into Team Blogville's basket!   Congratulations on that 87 point slam-dunk, Frankie the "STRETCH" Furter! 


THE BUZZER SOUNDS THE END OF THE GAME  -  TEAM BLOGVILLE WINS THE GAME!

(Final Score Blogville 121, Aliens 0.)  We think our Mommy tallied the score right considering she knows nothing about basketball.
